The original modest house in Oosterland, similar to those of the neighbors, had undergone various expansions over the years but without a clear plan or logical layout. As a result, the house consisted of multiple poorly utilized spaces, and the connection to the garden was almost entirely blocked.

The house had been vacant for some time, was poorly maintained, and was technically in very bad condition. We decided to demolish it, keeping only the main block of the original house. This way, we could integrate the authentic value into the new design.

The renewed house will feature an extension that opens completely to the garden and provides space for both the living room and the kitchen. The original building and the new extension will be connected by a hall, where the front door of the house will also be placed. The house is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
